On June 3, 2007, FeedBurner was acquired by Google. One month later, two of their popular "Pro" services (MyBrand and TotalStats) were made free to all users.
On May 26, 2011, Google announced that the FeedBurner APIs were deprecated. Google shut down the APIs on October 20, 2012.
Google "retired" AdSense for Feeds on October 2, 2012 and shut it down on December 3, 2012.
Google failed to renew the feedburner.jp domain name in July 2012. Yes, they forgot to renew a domain name, leaving millions of Japanese subscribers with unreachable feeds.
The “Contact Us” link in FeedBurner hasn't worked in three years. The Twitter account was also shut down and Google didn't even bother to create a Google+ page for FeedBurner.
“Google doesn’t offer technical or other support for FeedBurner any longer.” — Google official answer.
A bug by FeedBurner keeps posting emails to all registered emails, every few weeks. Our blog XML feed did not change.
After 4 days with no issues, Feedburner is once again not updating my blog feed. Come on kids, get it together.
Anyone know of issues with FeedBurner ? My emails are not going out the last few days.
